Common Beginner Paintball Mistakes

Your first paintball game is pretty epic. There is nothing more exhilarating than an exciting game of paintball. We offer a wide variety of used paintball guns and equipment to help you to save, no matter if you are a beginner or an expert. We also want to help you to enjoy playing paintball as much as we can! That is why we have come up with this list of the most common beginner paintball mistakes, so that you can avoid them:

  • Not moving - It is easy to fall into the trap of hiding somewhere and not moving. You may not get hit there, but you also won't be able to be useful to your team. Don't try to stay and protect your base either. Get out there and move around! You will have more fun, and you will be able to be more of an asset to your team.
  • Not looking - Oftentimes, new paintball players are afraid to stick their head out and look around, because they believe that they are making themselves an easy target. In paintball, the more you know about your surroundings, the better. So, don't be afraid to literally put yourself out there!
  • Shooting too soon - Markers are not the same as real guns, and they definitely can't shoot as far. If you try to shoot too soon, not only are you unlikely to hit your target, but you will almost certainly give your position away and probably get shot yourself.

When you head out on the field for your first paintball game, keep the above common mistakes in mind, so that you can avoid them and enjoy the game to the fullest.
