There truly is nothing out there like paintball, but there is a lot more to the sport than just having a great paintball gun. Sure, a quality paintball gun is a great place to start, but there are many things that you can do to learn how to become a more effective paintball player. The following is our list of tips to help you to become the kind of paintball player you want to be:

• Keep moving - Paintball is not about hiding or staying stagnant, it is about movement! The best tip that we can give you for upping your paintball game is to keep on moving. 
• Know the field - If you walk the field before the game starts, you will be able to know where you can find cover and where you will be the most vulnerable. Walking the field is a great way to get a leg up on the other team.
• Teamwork is key - Many paintball players make the mistake of taking big risks in order to try to be the hero. If the risk pays off, you could be earning yourself some individual glory, but if you want a win for your team, you should focus on strategy and teamwork. 
• Communicate with your team - Things can get crazy fast during a game, and if your current strategy isn't working, you have to be able to communicate with your team. Regardless of whether you prefer to shout to one another or use radios, effective communication will help to improve your team's game like nothing else.
