Have you had a chance to check out our latest blog yet? If you have, then you already know how important it is to camouflage yourself properly for a game of paintball. To recap, we talked about how having the right paintball gun and equipment is important, but how you camouflage yourself could make or break the game. Unfortunately, not many people know how to camouflage themselves properly. That is why our experts have come up with the following tips for camouflaging yourself:

  • Eliminate shine - In the woods, the only thing that gives off a shine will be water, which makes shiny pieces of metal on your equipment really stand out. That is why shine is such an important thing to think about when you are trying to camouflage yourself. It's a good idea to buy a marker that is flat black. If you already have a marker that isn't black, you can also try using a gun sock. Keep in mind that gun socks can make it difficult to reload and switch hands.
  • Distort your shape - The human shape is one of the easiest things for another human to pick out in any environment. Distorting your shape in some way is a great way to deal with this issue, just ensure that you don't limit your ability to move. Try loosely wrapping  a dark colored scarf of camouflage fabric around your head and neck. You should also be conscious of your body position, and try to maintain positions that most people don't usually take.

These are just a couple of tips that can help you to camouflage yourself more effectively when you are playing a game of paintball. Want to learn more? If so, please stay tuned for our next blog!
